- Invoice Reporting
Invoice Reporting is a comprehensive solution for keeping track of invoices and analysing the services that Swisscom has provided to its clients.
Management- and Reporting-application for Remote Access Services (RAS). Rich-Client for the administration, as well as Web-Client for the customer access.
Heureka consists of a web-based reporting-application for voice- and traffic-data, as well as Incidents and Orders with its corresponding Datawarehouse. Current data are monthly available to large Swisscom-Customers for evaluation and charging purposes.
Key aspect of the introduction- and integration-major project "All-IP" was the construction of a modular and flexible product model to conclude processes in a more lean and quicker manner. mimacom supports Swisscom in the area of Fulfillment and Assurance Systems development for the new IT-based net which is also based on a new IT-Architecture in the area of project-, change- and requirement-management starting from the conception to the implementation.
Web-application for creation, approval and distribution of business-figures-reports. The reports are created from various data sources (CSV, PDF, EXCEL, or online from SAP BW) by means of a report engine, controlled by selection- and publication procedures and finally published and filed as sets to the authorized user groups.
Federal Office of Information Technology, Systems and Telecommunication
The content of this major project is the redesign of the whole IT-landscape of any federal office. mimacom is significantly involved in how the project based on HERMES, also combined with agile methods, is performed. In this project mimacom takes responsibility for the technical architecture with the detachment and/or integration of the 20 peripheral systems, the basic functionalities such as work baskets, replacement mechanisms, deadline management, dossier management and monitoring of the process-driven system landscape. In addition, mimacom takes care of the further development of the whole development environment of the project.
With the DIKON system, SRF's distribution service centre (SC DIST) has replaced two distribution and configuration systems. During the process, reliable functions had been maintained and any identified weaknesses removed.
This project, too, has been managed by mimacom ag in line with the Scrum approach. There has also been a strong focus on quality assurance in the form of a personal Test Manager.
The System has gone on stream at the 2nd quarter of 2011.
Professionalization and strategic orientation of ÖGB IT department was supported by mimacom applying the Lean Assesment program and workshop.
Lean assessment helped us to discover our hidden potential, identifying gaps in our software development department. During the time-boxed workshop, we uncovered the most critical pain points and bottlenecks. Now we focus on the continuous improvement of these issues. Altgough we did not focus on our core business, the lean assessment consulting provided us a very objective, independet view on our software engineering processes.

Information Security and Facility Protection
Web platform for handling and administrating the electronic vetting of state personnel by the Information Security and Facility Protection (a federal authority of the Swiss Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport).
Atupri Gesundheitsversicherung needed a complaints management system that would allow it to receive and process its customers' requirements more efficiently and effectively.To meet this requirement, mimacom developed a modern CRM-based portal solution. Due to its modular design, the system is flexible and extendable.

mimacom developed the portal SPHAIR for the organisation of the same name for the Swiss Air Force. The application provides a fully evolved content management system for all the content for possible candidates and prospective pilots.
On the other side the system also provides workflows and process to organise and manage the education of the candidates.

Agate was implemented by mimacom in 2010 as portal, which composes the platform of the national agrarian information system of the federation, the cantons and the corporate sector. It supports the enforcement of national applicable legislation in the field of agriculture and, taking into account that the data privacy is being satisfied, is also used for private necessities, such as Label-Controls. The projects main objectives were the elimination of unnecessary excess work as well as the improvement of the quality and currentness of data.
ERGO is one of the biggest insurance groups in Germany and Europe. The company has spread its presence in over 30 countries, most of them in Europe and Asia. Ergo offers a wide spectrum of services related to insurance and provisions.
Federal IT Steering Unit
Malfunctions, breakdowns and electronic attacks (e.g. caused by hackers) or malware (like viruses and worms) pose a threat to infrastructures of information and communication.
The online communication platform MELANI of the Reporting and Analysis Centre for Information Assurance offers high-performance tools to the operators of national, critical IT infrastructures. These tools can detect attacks early and help coordinating arrangements when incidents occur.

mimacom provided the Federal Office for Migration (a federal authority of the Federal Department of Justice and Police) with substantial support in relation to the quality assurance, test management and introduction of the new ZEMIS system. The new system replaced two 20 year old systems used for the administration of foreign persons in accordance with the Immigration Act.
For the staff portal "MyBasler" mimacom has implemented the CI/CD for Liferay on an Icefaces basis and has energetically supported Basler during the portlet development. Both in the build-up of know-how & infrastructure, and in the development field itself.

With myStraumann 2.0 mimacom accomplished a global intranet solution in the field of site-, role- and organisation-specific capture and provision of Content. The complex functional model and its linkage to AD, the locally junction or separation of contents as well as the pleasing usability were the biggest challenges of this application. During the development the focus was strongly set on the expansion of global contents, the integration of external find requests and various features to increase the employee loyalty.
Canton of Vaud
Cyberadministration is the eGovernment-Platform of the Canton of Vaud. mimacom has shown its support by consulting the canton about the introduction of Good Practices and the basic configuration of the project-specific Liferay-platform. The implementation of portlet development for monitoring-applications, which evaluate helpdesk activities, is currently in process.
Putting JIRA and Confluence to work
mimacom and the team leads collaborated to define the objectives to be achieved, together compiled the solution, and last but not least configured it using JIRA and Confluence. In the final configuration, the issue tracking system JIRA, with the plugins used (Agile, Tempo, Structure, etc.), has a fundamental role in the toolchain of the GOV division. Furthermore, a cross-departmental mandate management system was established and a JIRA idea management system was implemented and introduced for the bs.ch website.
